Using the Resolution field to transpose notes from a Task to an Invoice in TSPO

Within each Task is a field titled 'Resolution' that can be used to fill out notes that you wish to also end up on an Invoice made from that Task.

Step 1: Create an item in QuickBooks that is a non-inventory item. This item will be used to "hold" the notes from the Resolution field.

  • We recommend you name this item 'Resolution' for easy identification.

Step 2: In TSPO, navigate to Settings > System Settings > Tasks

Step 3: Scroll to the bottom and under the field titled 'Default Notes Item' select your 'Resolution' item.

Step 4: Click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page.


Shown below is the Resolution Field filled out within a Task.


And here is where those notes appear on the Invoice created from this Task
