How to Whitelist Our Support Email Address

1. Gmail
  • Using a Filter (Most Reliable):
    1. Click the gear icon (Settings) in the top right and select See all settings.
    2. Go to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab and click Create a new filter.
    3. In the From field, enter the sender's email address or the domain (e.g., customersupport@westromsoftware.com).
    4. Click Create filter, check the box for Never send it to spam, and click Create filter again.
  • Using Contacts: Add the sender to your Google Contacts. Gmail automatically trusts known contacts.
 
2. Outlook (App and Web)
  • Using Safe Senders:
    1. Click the gear icon (Settings) and select View all Outlook settings (or Junk Email in the desktop app).
    2. Navigate to Mail > Junk email.
    3. Under Safe senders and domains, click Add safe sender.
    4. Type the email address (customersupport@westromsoftware.com) or domain name (westromsoftware.com) and hit Enter, then Save.
 
3. Apple Mail (Mac & iOS)
  • Using Contacts:
    1. Open an email from the sender.
    2. Click their name or email address at the top of the message.
    3. Select Add to VIPs or Add to Contacts.
  • Creating a Rule (Mac only): Go to Mail > Preferences > Rules, add a rule stating "If any of the following conditions are met: From Contains [Your Sender]", and set the action to Move Message to Inbox.
 
4. Yahoo! Mail
  • Using a Filter:
    1. Click the gear icon (Settings) in the top right, then More Settings.
    2. Click Filters and Add new filters.
    3. Enter a rule name, type the sender's email/domain (customersupport@westromsoftware.com)  in the From field, and set the action to move it to the Inbox.
  • Using Contacts: Open the email and click the "+" (plus) icon next to the sender's name to add them to your contacts.
