The following steps can resolve errors with other programs that use Microsoft Mappoint that may arise after installing The Service Program.
Step 1:
Find the location of MappointControl.ocx. You can use the search built into Windows to help. Just click on your start menu and type the above file name into the search bar.
Step 2:
Click on your start menu and then select "Run". Type in the following command and press OK. Make sure you replace the <path to file> with the location of the .ocx file you found earlier in the search.
C:\Windows\System32\regsvr32.exe "<path to file>MappointControl.ocx"
On some PC's if the above does not work try the command below:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\regsvr32.exe "<path to file>MappointControl.ocx"
